Colnago EPS Frame Set – HS, SP
With the impressive launch at the 2008 Tour de France and the continued success of the Colnago EPS in 2009 it remains the top lugged carbon frames made in Cambiago, Italy. The EPS stays true to the traditions that have made Colnago the most respected bike brand in the world. The EPS is a lugged frame offered in 22 standard sizes, 14 in a traditional geometry and 8 in the sloping geometry this allows the rider to find his “customized – standard” Colnago. The C-HS1 (Colnago Headset System) is used on the EPS; it is a tapered fork with a diameter at the base of 1” 1/4 to 1” 1/8. Colnago C-X1 Frame Set – HS, SP
The CX-1 represents the top of the line monocoque frames from Colnago, the front triangle is a monocoque structure where the seat and chain stays are lugged to the frame, this to improve the handling of the CX-1. Expect the ride of the CX-1 to be fast, aggressive especially on climbs and sprints you will feel the CX-1 performing with no loss of power transfer or handling. The polygonal shape of the top and down tube of the CX-1 does increase the lateral stiffness so no loss of power is experienced. Colnago Ace Complete Bike
The ACE is one of the NEW introductions from Colnago for 2010 season; the ACE is a full carbon monocoque frame that will use a 49 mm tube in selected areas of the frame. The geometry of the ACE is also new, introducing REAL X this frame will have a head tube that is approximately 20 mm higher than the traditional Colnago frame geometry; this to ensure a less aggressive (race set-up) riding position but a more comfortable riding position on the bike.
